At Delphi Bank, we're more than just a bank. We aim to give back to the Hellenic-Australian community that has long-supported us, and we constantly think about what we can do beyond banking to help our customers and strengthen the communities they live in.
Over the years we have nurtured the growth of our community through our extensive sponsorship program, and continue to help make a positive difference through our diverse range of initiatives and assistance programs.
Lonsdale Street Greek Festival
Delphi Bank is proud to be the exclusive Major Sponsor of the Lonsdale Street Greek Festival (previously Antipodes Festival), supporting not only the festival and its volunteers, but also Melbourne’s historic Greek Precinct, and its community of business owners and visitors.
Greek Festival of Sydney
Delphi Bank is proud to be the Presenting Partner of the Greek Festival of Sydney, which plays a crucial role in celebrating and supporting Sydney’s historic and diverse Greek community. Head of Delphi Bank, Jim Sarris stated that the partnership “is about engaging with our community and fundamentally expressing our support of it”.
Delphi Bank Semaphore Greek Cultural Festival
For the seventh consecutive year, Delphi Bank proudly maintains Naming Rights sponsorship of the Semaphore Greek Cultural Festival. Delphi Bank is pleased to show its ongoing support of the festival which officially kick-starts the much-anticipated Hellenic-Australian festival season, and has become one of the most loved, and largest of its kind in Australia.
Delphi Bank Greek Film Festival
As Delphi Bank's partnership with the Greek Film Festival nears a solid decade in 2019, we are once again honoured to be the official Naming Rights sponsor of the Festival for another consecutive year.
This Festival is not only of great cultural significance for Delphi Bank, its people and its communities – it also truly embodies a journey of growth and opportunity, something that the Bank lives by every day.
For the sixth consecutive year, Delphi Bank is pleased to continue its partnership with the A-League's largest club in Australia, Melbourne Victory Football Club. As Premier Partners of MVFC, Head of Delphi Bank states that "We understand the power this sport and this club has to bring people together and build communities, and it’s especially rewarding to bring those efforts closer to the community we call home here in Victoria, and across Australia."
Recognising the importance of sport in our culture, Delphi Bank proudly sponsors a range of grassroots sporting clubs around the nation. Most recently our support has extended to Victoria's Mill Park Soccer Club, Oakleigh Cannons and Bayside Argonauts. In South Australia we also support West Adelaide Hellas Soccer Club.
Delphi Bank plays an important role in the provision of opportunities and resources available to many school communities across Australia, particularly those that promote Hellenic culture and language.
We have recently offered our support to Victoria's Oakleigh Grammar School, St John's College, Alphington Grammar School, All Saints Grammar, and Preston Primary School. In New South Wales and South Australia we also support St Spyridon College.
Delphi Bank has a strong association with the Hellenic-Australian community and is a proud supporter of many community festivals around the nation. In addition to the community's major festivals listed above, Delphi Bank's sponsorship portfolio also includes Adelaide’s Glendi, Melbourne's 'The White Tower' Thessaloniki Festival, Brisbane's Paniyiri and more.
As proud supporters of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, we also help make possible various events and celebrations at our local churches, and partcipate in the ‘Blessing of the Waters’, and annual Christmas Carols (Kalanta).
